GRAIN DIVISION

The grain division comprises two areas: commercial grain and food grade corn and soybeans. The grain division is headed by Wm. (Bo) DeLong and has grain handling storage facilities in locations around Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio.

The commercial grain business buys, stores, and sells corn, soybeans, and wheat from local farmers and ships these grains to various domestic millers and livestock feeders across the United States.

As one of the midwest's largest suppliers of food grade corn and soybeans, we are positioned to meet your business needs. For more than a quarter century, we have have been supplying food processors worldwide. The food grade white and yellow corn is cleaned and processed in Clinton and Kirby and is sold domestically to snack and food manufacturers in bulk and bagged. It also sells food corn internationally to Europe, Asia, Mexico, and Canada. The food grade soybeans are processed and shipped domestically and loaded on barges and containers for export. The DeLong Co. is also a certified O.C.I.A. processor and handles both organically grown corn and soybeans.

Most of the food grade corn and soybeans are grown under production contracts in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Ohio on over 80,000 acres.
